Spot is a arrival-aware card app for Apple Watch, published by ZEN LABS S.R.L. (Bucharest, Romania). It is built to do one thing well without harvesting your data. This policy describes the data practices of the Spot app specifically.
What we collect
Nothing off your device. Spot uses on-device location and geofencing to notice when you arrive at a place you've saved, so it can surface the right card. Your saved places, lists, and notes stay on your device — they are never sent to us or to any server.
What we don't collect
- No account — Spot has no sign-up and no login.
- No personal information, contacts, or health data we receive.
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No analytics that leave your device.
Location
Location is used only on-device to trigger arrival cards. Spot does not log your location history, share it, or transmit it off your device.
StoreKit & purchases
Spot is a one-time in-app purchase sold through Apple. When you buy it, Apple processes the payment via your Apple ID using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment details — we never receive or store your card information. We receive only the anonymous transaction status needed to unlock the app on your device.
Third-party SDKs
Spot ships without third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it does not share any data with third parties — including third-party AI services. If we ever add a diagnostics or crash-reporting tool, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before it ships, disclose exactly what it collects, and ask for your consent where required.
Data retention
Because Spot collects no data off-device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on a server. On-device data lives only on your devices and is removed when you delete the app.
Your choices
You can turn off notifications in iOS Settings at any time, remove the Watch complication, or delete the app — which removes all of its on-device data. Spot is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription to manage or cancel.
Children
Spot is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, where the change is material, note it in the app's release notes.
